Gérard Depardieu not only likes to drink wine, he does it too!

In 1989, the actor fulfilled a dream and bought the Château de Tigné, located in Anjou (France). The picturesque 100th century castle is literally enthroned in the midst of its XNUMX hectares of vineyards. Depardieu actively helps out in the vineyards and the winery whenever he can. He now owns fourteen vineyards around the world. The soils of the vineyards are extremely rocky, ideal conditions for incomparable enjoyment. The vineyards are cultivated according to traditional and ecological methods.

Tigné has had the “Terra Vitis” certification since the 2013 vintage. The seal of quality is awarded to farms that work in a sustainable, ecological and environmentally conscious manner.

Tigné wines are synonymous with authentic and unadulterated flavor. Just the way Depardieu likes it.
